Capacity building is an investment in the effectiveness and future sustainability of a NGO. In simple words, it is anything that help a NGO grow in organizational maturity, operational, programmatic or financial aspect so that it can contribute to the society and have a positive impact on lives and communities.
Our steps towards capacity building :

  1. Adolescent health has been a neglected area in the scheme of primary healthcare. There is a need to build the capacity of the service providers on ARSH issues.
  2. Training the Medical Officers.
  3. Training the ANM/Lady Health Visitor (LHV)/Male supervisors and ICTC Counsellors.
  4. Training of master trainers of ASHA Support System at State Level
  5. Refresher training of frontline service providers (Peer group Educators and Field Trainers).
  6. Panchayati Raj Trainings of PRI’s.
  7. Akash Task Force: Was formed to sensitize the Adolescent age group girls through sessions at the Government girls colleges and schools of Uttarakhand. More than 12000 Adolescent girls were sensitize on the adolescent issues.
  8. SAMARPAN provides support to the UKHFWS in conducting the trainings of Block and district level staff of FNGOs and DARCs who are working on UDAAN program in 42 blocks along with the Medical and Paramedical Staff.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra is a campaign launched by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, to provide quality medicines at affordable prices to the masses through special kendras known as Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra. This can change a lot of lives but most of the masses are still unaware of this campaign. Health is preventive and promotive but curative is the way to win the hearts. We started by opening 2 outlets by joining hands with PMJAY, but since then, we have grown and now have multiple outlets throughout the city. We believe in providing the best at for the least and through this, we are helping people to buy the medicines they need for the cheapest price.
